What a wonderful collection! I had so much fun making this. While the outfit all together is adorable for its Alice in Wonderland theme, I can also see it as the basis for a pirate or steampunk outfit. I love that not only do the pieces fit well together, I can also see each piece standing alone in different ways - I actually made just the vest (waistcoat) last month in a bright pink and checked combination! The long coat is my favorite piece … making 90” of piping takes a little time, but the piping is what makes this coat really stand out. I’ve only made the bow tie from the accessories pattern, but will definitely be adding the top hat to my ensemble. The instructions may appear a little long and intimidating, but that’s only because there are so many details and so many pieces to cover. The fit of each piece is excellent … with so many layers, it’s a balance to have each piece fit on it’s own, but still be roomy enough to wear all the layers together, and these were just right.
