First Impression: This lantern was smaller than I expected and I was disappointed that it was plastic, not aluminum like many other LUXPRO products. The dial to change the mode is easy to use and controls the brightness level and modes perfectly. The metal “hook”(I think of it as a handle not a hook) is strong which makes it convenient for carrying the light. Brightness: It is a good brightness for a lantern, the warm modes aren’t so bright that it hurts to look at the lantern when holding it and for the cool modes the LEDs are not visible when holding it so even at max brightness its not blinding! Beam Quality: It provides 360 Degrees of light perfectly! Build Quality: The lantern appears to be built well, but I wish it wasn’t plastic. Battery Life: The lantern’s battery life is great. I still haven’t had to replace the batteries after a weeklong camping trip. Final Thoughts: The lantern is easy to use and has no major flaws. It would be better if it was made of metal, rechargeable batteries or maybe a clip to hang the lantern. The brightness is perfect for most scenarios, especially camping! I would definitely recommend this lantern.
