Affordable, Higher Quality Food
My dog is a bit picky but she really loves this—I can even use it as treats! Because it’s oven-baked, it retains more nutrients than actual kibble. However, the reason I’m rating it 4 stars is because Open Farm still uses an extruder (high heat) to get the kibble shape. Ideally, it’d be cold pressed and then oven baked. But for the price, it’s fairly solid and works while I’m a bit down on my luck financially.

Not Bad for Kibble
As far as kibbles go, this one is better than the rest. However, the temperature it’s cooked at is still pretty high so I question its nutrient composition. The price is great but I think it might be wise to look for air dried recipes (if you can’t afford air dried, this may be your best bet). Overall, my dogs approve of the taste (but they really love Open Farm’s air dried dog food).
