Love the color, but careful picking the thread

I love, love, love the color of and the pattern on these coasters. And they are great little portable projects to tuck into your travel bag. BUT, be careful to pick contrasting threads. I found some beautiful hand dyed sashiko threads to use on these coasters. But after stitching I REALLY had to look to see the pattern. I finally just tried black thread, which really popped.

Just love the mustard color of the coasters. And don’t the different colors of the threads look stunning? Great idea for stocking stuffers too. I’m thinking these would also make great little gifts if you belong to a close group of friends. I sure love mine!!

Beautiful color and quality of fabric

These coasters are very fun to stitch up, quick and it's fun to play with thread colors for the different designs. I love the brown color (I think the photo doesn't show how beautiful the hue really is) and the thickness of the fabric. I am planning to gift these and want to order another set for myself.
