Not a good summer to stain your cabin!

To properly use this stain (or any stain for that matter), it is recommended you have 3 or 4 days in a row to ensure dry wood before and after applying the stain. Didn't happen! I found if it did rain right after applying, it did not seem to effect the stain, other than remaining tacky for awhile. The second coat of stain left the glossy film I was looking for. Only time will tell, but it looks like it will provide protection from the elements for many years ahead.
