GREAT PRODUCT FOR FENCING!

Duro grit is a great product. It's nice that the wood only needs 80 grit sanding before application. I used a brush on my privacy fence project and a cloth to wipe excess. The coverage calculator was spot on for my application on cedar. Clean up is easy and there's no odor. My only caution to users would be to apply it in the shade and before the wood gets warmed up which makes the product more difficult to spread.

NOT WORTH THE HYPE

With Rubio Monocoat being such an easy product to use it was shocking how difficult DuroGrit was to use. I would not recommend this product to anyone unless you have a good deal of training with it. I watched numerous “how to” videos and read Rubio instructions but my final product looked poor: very streaky, blotchy, and not at all what my sample product looked like (I used same wood, same sanding process and everything before I bought liter-sized can). It was also extremely hard to apply. This could be operator error, but I have over 20-years of woodworking/finishing experience. It is also very expensive and could be a huge cost mistake if working on larger areas or projects.

EASY TO APPLY, LOOKS BETTER THAN NEW!

First time using Rubio Monocoat. I sanded and refinished my eucalyptus garden furniture with Duragrit. Easy to apply, and the set looks better than it did when it was new. Very happy with the product!
