Lems Chelsea Boot Water Resistant Unisex - Obsidian

Good addition

Bought these as I wanted a waterproof Chelsea Boot. I already had a Lems Boulder Summit in 13UK. I rrdered one of these in 13UK and another in 14UK. The 13UK felt too narrow in the midfoot and a little short in length (despite seemingly being the same length as the 13UK Boulder Summit). The 14UK fitted well. They seem to be 100% waterproof so far and the toe box is categorically wider than the Boulder Summit - and by extension I imagine the Chelsea Tuff as well. I only wish they did half sizes as these are slightly too long so I need to wear thicker socks. Be aware that these do have a small thermoplastic toe puff at the very front of the boot - albeit it is one of the only boots where it doesn't interfear with my toes. Returns process for the 13UK one was flawless and money returned very quickly.

The best boots I've even owned

I was a bit hesitant to order these because I am a UK 3/3.5 and the smallest UK size is a 4. However, the boots are very comfortable and fit really well. I may eventually need to wear thicker socks and/or insoles but so far no issues with them being too big (and I've worn them extensively since I got them!). The toe box is really wide and when I first saw them I was worried it would look like I was wearing clown shoes. However, they look fine on and I needn't have worried! They have coped well so far with the rainy British weather. They offer the best of both worlds - the wide toe box and zero drop of barefoot footwear but with more cushioning of traditional footwear - making them perfect for city life.

Light, comfortable, good looking

Great boots for everyday use - practical, comfortable and good looking. I was sceptical about ordering half a size up but having ordered two sizes half a size up was indeed correct.
