Good kit

I like the quality of this item's components. With a rather wide diameter, the leg pedestal is quite stable. Both the base and the top part appear robust. I especially like how well the pedestal connects and disconnects from the base. More problematic is removing the tabletop from the pedestal. Because the top of the leg (pedestal) is tapered, it tends to get rather tight and difficult to remove. I found a small amount of silicone grease is helpful.
