These planes are amazing! My students and I took a lot of data using flights and flight logs after testing out whether printer or card stock works best. It was the perfect end of the school year data analysis project. My only regret is that we lost two of them over the treeline! They caught a vertical draft and just kept going beyond our school so we could not retrieve them. Hopefully the squirrels are enjoying both lost planes as much as we did. We did get one caught in a tree, but it was really exciting and fun to problem solve how to get it down. We did retrieve that one for sure if I had more grant money, I’d absolutely buy four more of them!
