firstly if you read this book you should read The Great British Tank Scandle which is vol 1 of this two part series, These two books are writen in a way that helps the reader understand how we came to the Main Battle Tank Thinking. David Fletcher is fantastic in the way he writes and comunicates his vast knowledge out to us mere mortals.

Bought as a companion to 1st volume, sadly not read any yet due to reading some good books about AFVs. Looks good and very informative from a master of AFV history and development.
