Cromwell Tank: Vehicle History and Specification

A good read.

A very informative book about the Cromwell tank. This book deals more with the technical side of this tank than the combat history and service side. Full of photographs and line drawings of the inner workings of this tank.

Cromwell tank

A mine of technical detail for modellers and tank nerds. David Fletcher's writing is very readable and informative. There are many excellent photo references. However, this only constitutes about a quarter of the book, the rest being reprints of official manuals. Sadly, there is very little on the Cromwell's operational history here.
