I totally related to the NYT article entitled: "I spent a small fortune on fancy travel containers and regret nothing. " Definitely a small fortune. These things are pricey; but it's become my guilty pleasure. For me, the quality of this product outweighs the price tag. The magnets are fun and clicking the capsules together and clicking the cap to the body does give me an odd sense of sensory satisfaction; but I do wonder if they are necessary on the body of the product (I like this immensely on the lid/ label area). I'm sure the magnets probably add to the overall weight of each capsule. That being said, while the weight of the capsules does seem to add to overall baggage load, using them in all their heft is also satisfying somehow. I'm happy with the quality of this product and so far I have not experienced leakage. I ordered some of these with pre-printed labels and the quality of what appears to be a laser label is good. The problem I'm having is the print is soooo small. I wear glasses but not in the shower or when getting ready or applying make-up so I can't read the tiny print when I need to most. I solved this by purchasing different colors for different categories and I'm working on adding custom vinyl labels that includes larger text or maybe larger icons. Still figuring that out. I bought several new caps but haven't had the opportunity to use them yet. Looking forward to trying them out on our next trip. I love the modular aspect of the capsules. I am particular so the ability to customize the size of the product using extenders, the lid of the product depending on the type of liquid, and easily add the labels to different containers makes me happy. ;-) Finally, the parcel. I originally ordered a couple Truffle brand cases for my capsules. And, I do like them. So, ordering another bag wasn't imperative but I decided to try out their parcel during the Earth Day sale. While it's smaller than I thought it would be, I LOOOOVE IT! I might even like it more than I like the capsule product which is saying a lot. It fits quite a few capsules considering the size. I'm a big fan of smart design and this (and the capsules) really are just so well thought out. And, neither skimp on quality. The only thing I don't like about the parcel so far is an off-gassing smell. Hoping that will dissipate a bit with time. Still, trying to keep myself from impulsively buying another one. I already think I need to seek professional help for all the capsule sizes, colors and accessories I've ordered thus far. Ha. I'm a fan! Well done Cadence. Looking forward to seeing what's next. P. S. All my capsules were leakproof with the exception of one.
