Cravin' Cricket

This is the only food my dog does not gain weight on. She got sick in the middle of a heat wave this February here in the desert southwest and began throwing up her food. This happened for 3 days and I thought she wouldn't eat if I kept giving her craving cricket bc of the association with throwing it up. So I put her on the vet recommended natural balance bison and brown rice? Bison and something limited ingredient. In one month I suddenly looked down and Daisy was fat! FAT! She'd gained 4 pounds. She has been on a very slow diet since April. She didn't really like the bison. And I decided to try Jiminys again bc she'd always gotten glowing reports from vets and maintained a very healthy weight. She has been back on cricket for a month and is back within less than a pound to go. She absolutely LOVES this stuff. And the new vet I went to swore her coat was fantastic. She said she was in great health, and that the diet was working. Cravin cricket for life, man.

My only problem is, I think they reduced the size of the bag a little? It seems I'm 2 days short all of a sudden, but maybe I just fished out too much a couple times. But my Daisy absolutely LOVES this food. I took her away for a couple months to rest her palate after she'd give such and thrown it up for a couple days and she really did not like the 2 things I tried. And thru were top ranked dry food. She gained 3 pounds in 2 months. I just got her back on Jiminys a couple weeks ago and on it straight a week ago and she's thrilled. I really think it's helping her diet. Helping her get down to her "prize weight." I love this food. Her vet was surprised by the ingredients and when I told her how it had performed for her for 4 years, she relaxed about giving it to her over the bison and brown rice. Hey cost is fabulous. Her teeth are great. Her labs are great. Everything is great. I just don't know why I was 2 days short. I've always been under before. I'll pay more attention.

My dog love this brand of food. Has helped him with itchyness since most dog food he was allergoc too.
