Nice materials, and it works well with a couple caveats.

Portability is a must for us, and this is the only ’smokeless’ unit that we found that was truly portable. To be smokeless you do give up on a couple important attributes of a portable campfire, 1) the heat is mostly from the flame and the top. You give up on a lot of radiative heat, so in-terms of keeping people toasty, this is like most of the other in this category, 2) you can’t watch the logs burn, which is 25% of the fun of a fire. That said, you’re getting a mostly smoke free burn. We have another portable fold up fire pit that burns logs in the open, and while the open screen pans allows a lot of air, and reduces smoke, it’s no where as clean as this unit. As far as dings and what I’d like to see… Please have some sort of way to move the unit when it’s hot. You need to install handles of some sort. You Cannot drag the unit, let the legs collapse and spill your fire. Not safe. All and all we’re quite satisfied. What makes this a standout in smokeless fire pits is its portable nature.

Good fire pit for less

Overall great fire pit. Works just as well as the name brand ones but cheaper. The legs are also a nice built in feature. Connecting the upper and lower can be a bit difficult but it's not a deal breaker. We got the black stove and it looks great. It puts out a decent amount of heat ( about 3-4 feet from stove). Time will tell if it holds up but overall we are very pleased.
