Best shirts I’ve worn.

First impressions - new to merino
This is my first piece of merino wool clothing (besides socks). We're starting to do some international traveling, and I wanted to try it. I'm 61 yrs old, just over 6', and weight about 220lbs. So yes - a belly. I ordered XL, and it fits how I'd hoped. Some other brands seemed to target younger/fitter people, and were too slim fitting for me. I appreciate some length, as I hate shirts that exposed my belly if I'm lifting my arms over my head. As others have stated, this shirt is longer than usual. I'd be happier if it were about 2" shorter. Maybe it'll shrink? Hopefully not widthwise. The fabric is plenty soft, and I don't feel like it's as "transparent" as others I've seen. I assume that's the blend. It snamps back well when stretched too. I've worn it most of 3 days so far without washing, and there's no smell (I haven't done any heavy sweating in it yet). I ordered two other items (another T, and long sleeve henly) at the same time. I'm going to put this first one through it's paces a bit before wearing the others, just in case I want to return them. I don't anticipate that at this point. The real test will be during a 2 week trip to Italy October.

I made a mistake, but it was totally worth it!
As a resident in the usual wet, grey, and cold State of Washington, I already have two interlock crew-neck tees (300gsm), perfect for this weather. Thinking I ordered the blue version of this type of shirt, I was disappointed when it arrived. After trying on this signature version (160gsm), it felt great. I'm no longer a downer about the accidental choice; you can't go wrong with any high-quality WP products.😁
