Interesting Results Quick Turn-Around

It is always good to know the DNA of a pet for many reasons. Your turn-around was quick, communication was good. Sadie was identified as 45% Beagle and the rest as Supermut. Interestingly, I have a friend who has a dog that looks alomost EXACTLY like Sadie, is the same size, and gender. The owner knows the mother was a Schnauzer, so I was surprised that Schnauzer did not show as part of the result. The photos below are of my friend/s dog on the left, and Sadie on the right. I returned my test over the holiday so my result took a bit longer than is apparently usual. However, the company did clearly stare that on their website. I was happy to have a breed and approximately birthdate and age confirmed. Overall the process was simple and easy.

Our surprise mystery mutt

Our Daphney's results came with surprises putting the pieces of her story together. It all made sense....finally. Even seeing her ancestors breeds put together more pieces of his mystery history. From all the information embark revealed we think she can from back yard breeders trying to make a designer breed mutt. I always joked that her tiny body has the spirit of a junk yard security Rottweiler. Turns out a distant relative is a German shepherd. Makes total sense as she's a fierless protector. All the tiny toy breeds that make her up I can totally see in her stunmpy legged mixed up body. Not to mention how her personality traits just make perfect sense now. I may never know what happened to her as far as the post trauma she is working through but whi sge is unfolded. Embark was an absolute wealth of information.
