A great range of movement can go all the way down to the top of my desk and go a solid foot and a half in the air.

Quality seems fine, I wish it had a bit more height. My old stand was fine to have nearfield speakers under my monitors, but with this I had to flip the speakers sideways to fit. If you plan on using the cable management take the covers off first, the instructions say to do it last but it's very difficult to get them off when you only have a couple inches between the desk and lower arm.
