Belle Breton Stripe Jersey Dress - Black/White Stripe

Great, with Two Caveats

I have narrower shoulders and wider hips, and while I love supporting the US's mission, the square-ish fit of the designs rarely works for me. However, this jersey dress is almost perfect: the fabric skims my waist and hips, while also holding its shape. It is also knit tightly and is difficult to snag. The only drawbacks are the boatneck's narrowness across the throat and width across my shoulders. While the dress is professional enough for my casual office, I wouldn't feel comfortable with my bra straps showing because of its width. The neckline can also rub against my throat, but I don't mind it at the sale price. Finally, I love a Breton striped anything, and this dress is a fun addition to my wardrobe of sensible neutrals.

Fabric is light to mid weight, fit is slimmer through the body with a slight flare at the knee. I’m 5’5” and hits me just below the knee. Nice casual summer dress.

Subtle Structure

This dress is like a more upscale t-shirt dress. I love that it's a bit more structured, so it has a nice drape. It's very comfortable, and I feel it's versatile. I like to wear it with a jean jacket and white tennis shoes, but would also be nice with black sandals and statement jewelry. I plan on taking it on my trip to Mexico next month!
