Good Material, Poor Assembly

Made of thick aluminum that feels durable and reliable. Unfortunately, the construction is disappointing. The pan is not welded or sealed but rather folded together leaving gaps. When I placed my dark rye dough inside and set it on my pristine new baking stone, the dough leaked through the seams and left permanent stains on the stone. It’s a shame, because the material is good, but the assembly makes the pan impractical for baking. I hope future versions will be designed with proper sealing to avoid this issue.

Best product are made in Japan. I love my loaf pan
