Overall I'm happy with the bench, the pad is firm and grippy. The bench is solid, I've only had it for a week so far. The only negative for me is the support for the large pad that your back goes against flexes side to side a bit. It doesn't wobble, it's good that way, but if you shift your weight it actually flexes. I haven't tried heavy flat bench press on it yet to see if the flexing will throw me off. So far I'm happy overall, it adjust very nicely and is an upgrade over my old amstaff bench that had a wobble to the back pad from new. It was very easy to assemble, literally 15 minutes to unbox and fully assemble which was great. It shipped across the country and took about a week, so I was happy with that.

Super Solid!

This bench is a beast! It is SUPER solid with great padding. I have been looking for a bench of this stature for a long time but had a hard time justifying the purchase as equivalent benches out there are substantially more expensive. I was able to replace two existing benches in my home gym with this one helping to declutter. Also this bench is able to be stored in an upright position if you so chose. It arrived mostly assembled and what was left to do was very straightforward. I really love the 12 " backpad! Be mindful of the overall length of this bench before ordering to ensure it will integrate well with any existing power rack etc. I personally had to re-configure my power rack placement due to the bench length which was not a terrible issue for me. Maytham from the company contacted me during the ordering process and was super helpful and responsive to my questions. This is the best bench I have ever owned, and one of the best I have ever used
