I really like the fit of the socks in the ankle. The reason I didn't give them five stars is because they are really too snug above the ankle. I have lipedema which causes "champagne bottle" legs which is narrow ankles and very large calves like an inverted champagne bottle. I take diuretics and wear compression hose every day. To give my legs a rest, I occasionally wear the compression socks at night and in the mornings there's a very big indentation above the ankle which can be painful. I bought the next larger size which helps but it's still snug.
