AmScope SM745NTP Trinocular Stereo Microscope Head with 45X Magnification

So good

I was *really* surprised how good this microscope is. Like, it ended up being a *massive* upgrade over my previous microscope. Two comments I'll say: 1) absolutely get a Barlow lens, or the focal plane will be really obnoxiously close to the objective. 2) I got an AmScope camera, and I got it simultaneously focused through the trinocular view, but frankly, the camera image quality an framerate were a bit poor. But probably that's just a complaint about AmScope cameras, not this head unit. So the base binocular microscope bit, used with my own eyes, is the best microscope I've ever had by far. Zero regrets.

Individual focal tube adjustments

If you need to adjust the eye relief or focal tubes because your eyes have different focal distance from each other (older humans) this is the body you want! I love that I can fine tune each eye, tube. If you don’t need this option, there are less expensive models available. Just love this thing!
