Expectations Exceeded

I actually have the budget for any scope, but wanted something in the mid range as is my normal behavior. I initially bought Swift Stellar One but returned because of the build quality, plus its limited use case. I almost didn't purchase this one because of a Youtube review, but after deliberation and shopping around I came back to this one. I can honestly say my expectations were easily exceeded. I did have an issue with the led light which was resolved very quickly by AmScope who sent me a new one. Happy to report it is perfect. Plus, the return process was very simple, and not at all daunting as I had imagined it would be. The scope itself has a solid build quality; parts that rotate do so smoothly, and I also feel as though this will grow with my new hobby to the extent I would desire. I specifically wanted the ability for dark field, and while I haven't tried it yet I have full faith it will be fine.

Very good quality microscope

The 3 Watt led light is under powered for dark field microscopy but otherwise all good.
