Henna Hair Dye - Medium Brown

My favorite hair dye!

I’ve been using henna hair dye for over 10 years, using this particular brand for 5+. It works great, my hair is always beautiful and luscious after. More than a dye, it’s like a hair treatment! I’ll never use anything different (please don’t ever change!)

Want to love it, turns grays orange not brown

I decided to try henna because my wisps of grays got to me & I avoid chemicals every way I can. First application was medium, following the directions to a T leaving on for 2 hours using chamomile and ginger. It darkened & warmed my medium/dark ashy brown hair. The gray coverage turned it from silver white to golden brown. Better but nothing like the other reviews or pictures. 2 months later I try again but with light brown leaving on 4 hours with cinnamon instead of ginger. Result - bright orange grays. INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTING. I wait 4 days and go over it with another medium brown leaving on for 4 hours. Result - slightly darker orange grays. I have one more bag of medium brown and am debating doing straight henna followed by the medium brown followed by straight indigo if the gray wisps framing my face don’t darken.
