Kromski Harp Forte Rigid Heddle Loom

Beautiful and strong

I bought the 32”, clear finish. It is a beautiful and very sturdy loom. Putting it together was a bear, the tolerances on all the parts are very tight, further adding to its robustness. I’ve started weaving on it already and I love it! My only complaint is the heddle did not have the lovely curved top as depicted in the photo. This was a disappointment because I bought this loom for 2 reasons: it’s metal ratchet/pawl and its beautiful design. But I’m not taking a star off for that. I’m overall thrilled with it.

Kromski looms are the best Rigid Heddle looms!!

I have used several other brands and my Kromski rigid heddles are the smoothest and easiest to use. I love them!!! This 8” is my go to for scarves and wash cloths. Love love love. Revolution shipped it right away so there was no wait, best customer care ever.

Just LOVE it!

I looked at many different manufacturers of rigid heddle looms and without a doubt Kromski provided me the best match. I splurged and got the Walnut stained option and am so glad that I did. I just love how gorgeous it is. Other manufacturers didn’t seem to take the time to even provide any options for such a beauty. If dark wood is not your preference, the non-Walnut / natural one is pretty nice too. No additional products need to be purchased to “finish” the wood. I first used their 18” loom natural one, and found their metal ratcheted gears pretty solid and precise (eg really locks in place and I had peace of mind—no fear of future plastic wearing down or splitting). I purchased their largest one to provide me increased flexibility on what I could make—from scarves, to placemats, to larger items like bathroom mats or art work for the wall. Even better, it comes with a double heddle block/holder so you can buy an additional heddle to even provide you more weaving options. They also have a “make your own” heddle so you can build heddles with different dents. I saw this after I purchased my loom and extra heddles, otherwise I probably would have explored that heddle option instead of buying extra heddles to support future double heddle and larger warp yarn projects (eg I got 2 smaller dent heddles too). What made it even more awesome was that it folds for transport where you can leave your project as is, reduce the tension, fold it, and then open it back up once you get to your destination. Love the design since in each “mode” (eg whether it is folded or not folded) it locks into place. Finally, if its beauty, quality, flexibility and transportability hasn’t convinced you yet, do it for the increased creativity and fun it will add into your life. You deserve it! An additional note: this was part of my first purchase with Revolution Fibers. They were very helpful and super responsive. I feel like it is my first of many more orders.
