It's plastic, good size and nice looking. I like it has different compartments for your brushes. I would suggest making the outside an inch shorter. It would help with shorter brushes.

Better than I expected. Exterior finish is shiny and attractive for a make-up table environment. The insert feels robust and can be removed for cleaning, which is very useful. It also has more capacity than I expected for the footprint.
