Swarovski ATC / STC Compact 56mm 17-40x Spotting Scope

Awesome little spotting scope.

A great compact spotting scope, this is what I expected from swaro. S and S archery is great, prices are unbeatable, and these guys know high end optics. They have great customer service.

Super Impressed - More to Test

I've taken this out a few times on the winter range to look and experience in low light and I'm very impressed. I've owned the Maven S1 and S2. The S2 never had enough zoom, but was great glass. The S1 has been my go too for about 5 years. Comparing this side by side with that large 80mm spotter I'm crazy impressed. The swaro is more clear than the maven, has a LARGER field of view and has a great viewing experience with the eye piece! As it gets darker in the evening...particularly the last 5-10 minutes, you can see the brightness of the S1, but the Swaro actually stay's more clear! (but yes more dim) That all being said I'm going to sell my S1 and use the swaro this year and when I need a bigger spotter I'll invest in a Kowa or Swaro. One thing to note for me...I think the FOV and viewing experience are worth the price jump from other great small spotters.
