Awesome shoe

Great fit, easy break-in, worked incredibly well during the race. Phenomenal grip, both to my foot and thru the dirt and mud. Drainage holes are genius, surprisingly comfortable

Really like product quality and design, unfortunately I require a wide size

I purchased a Spartan shoe which I was very pleased with as far as quality, design, and workmanship. Unfortunately, I have a wider foot so I exchange it for a larger size which unfortunately was still tight. And then exchanged it one more time for an even larger size, which, because of my wide foot was still a bit tight. The exchange process through Spartan was very easy and quick. I really wish the shoe would fit as it is very good, but I cannot go any larger so I will now be exchanging the shoes for a refund. All along the service with Spartan has been very good.

Good, not great

I bought these for 3 main reasons: 1. I own a pair of Craft running shoes and they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. 2. I needed more tread specifically for the Spartan race and didn’t want to ruin my good running shoes in mud. 3. Spartan was offering $50 off. This shoe is not worth $150, and I didn’t really want to spend $100. But when I was carrying a 60 lb sack and a 40 lb bucket up and down steep dirt hills, I was so thankful for the grip and stability. Not anywhere near as comfortable as my other Craft shoes, but now I have a good pair of hiking shoes and another reason to run the Spartan race again.
