Socks for a long Ruck

Socks were just what I needed. I signed up to do the Bataan Memorial Death March and was in need of a different pair of socks than just the usual pair I had in my drawer. I got these socks just week or so prior to the event. It was a 26.2 miles long and I carried a +35lbs ruck through the desert in NM. Combination of pavement, rocks, dirt and sand. These socks were a nice feel of compression and they didn’t fray from the constant heat from movement or extra weight. I don’t ruck regularly but I feel these socks helped tremendously on preventing hot spots and blisters.
