MudGear Speed Ruck Boots

I recently started a structured rucking program, and these boots have performed exceptionally well under load. Right out of the gate, the stability stood out—especially on a treadmill and light trail work where footing can get unpredictable. The grip is solid, even when things get sweaty, and the material strikes a perfect balance between durability and comfort. What really impressed me is how supportive they feel under weight. Running with a loaded pack can expose weak gear fast, but these shoes held the line. No slipping, no hotspots, and no unnecessary fatigue from poor design. They feel locked in without being restrictive. Break-in time was minimal, which is a huge win. I was able to get operational almost immediately without dealing with the usual discomfort that comes with new footwear. Overall, these shoes exceeded expectations. They’ve earned a permanent spot in my rucking setup, and I’d confidently recommend them to anyone serious about training under load. Appreciate the quality work—keep it coming.

Would have been five stars, but when using the loop on the back of the shoe to help to slip my foot in, the loop pulled loose from its stitching, a real shame. Other than that they seem pretty durable and on the light (weight) side.

I watched the YouTube video with the guy from go ruck. He said these boots felt like they wanted to take off the minute he put them on.That describes exactly what I felt. It was an energy field had come alive. Great fit. Great look. I hope this isn’t the last we seefrom Mud Gear in terms of ruck shoes and or boots.
