Well Designed. Cold Weather Freedom of Movement

I am in Florida, so all of my hunting gear is very lightweight. I was heading down to Argentina for a winter dove hunt with my son and realized we needed some colder weather gear. Bought this jacket as well as some of the other layers from Cou, which we already know and love. This jacket performed flawlessly. It kept us warm. But more importantly, we were able to shoot with three layers on completely unencumbered with tremendous freedom of motion. This is extremely well designed gear. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Just Perfect!

As a professional hunter, I mainly use the KUIU Axis Hybrid Hooded Jacket in Ash in the mid-mountain regions. It fits perfectly, offers excellent mobility, and is ideal for active days in variable mountain conditions. The hybrid design is spot-on — lightweight, breathable, and not overly insulating, which makes it perfect for layering. The strategic waterproof paneling in the hood, shoulders, and arms keeps me dry where it matters most. The Ash color looks sharp and blends well in the terrain. Top quality from KUIU — one of my favorite jackets. Highly recommended!
