Mandarinquat *Pre-Order*

I like the painfully sour insides of kumquats, so I like these, but my family is less enthused. I was expecting them to be sweeter than kumquats, but they are just as sour inside. The sweet peel is delicious but because the surface:volume ratio is smaller compared to kumquats, they overall seem more sour if you try to eat them whole. However, my dad used the juice like lemon juice to marinate steak for fajitas, and they were excellent.

My wife and I love citrus, especially kumquats, but these mandarinquats might be a new favorite citrus! They have far surpassed our expectations. My wife said that they taste like pure dopamine, so it's certainly a big hit. Lately the kumquats we have been getting have been a bit too tart for our liking, so we weren't sure what to make of these mandarinquats when we saw them for sale, but we decided to give them a try, and we're so glad that we did. They have all the good qualities of a kumquat, but not quite as tart, and they're bigger! We will definitely be getting more of these
