Ready to Eat Smoked Steelhead Trout

I always have this on hand in my pantry. Wonderful light meal over rice or with finely shredded white cabbage.

We bought this with something that was frozen, so the packages of trout were frozen in transit because of proximity to the frozen item and ice packs. They are now completely mushy. Flavor is good, but texture is terrible. We’ve loved them in the past. Lesson: order separately.
