Britt X Ultralight Work Pant in Flax Ripstop

light and tough

After 2 days of wearing these at work,I can Tell they are going to be on steady repeat for me! I do forestry work in Hawaii and they are just the ticket; tough lightweight flexible. I really hate wearing long pants but have to do it at my work, these do not drag me down as I'm hiking and climbing. Pockets are great of course! They're dovetails! And I really love the reinforced pocket tabs. That's where my pruners and my leatherman go. ( You guys should make a leatherwoman multi tool. ... Just a suggestion.) One great thing that these pants have that not all Dovetails have is two hammer hangers, one on each side! Love that! I wasn't sure how I was going to like the elastic in the waistband, I usually avoid that like the plague, but the the elastic in this waist is so subtle! You guys nailed it. I haven't worn and enjoyed a pair of pants with an elastic waist since I was maybe 7! But I am today. :) And I'm definitely older than 7!! Well, just a little. I have noticed that the water does kind of bead up and roll off of them when I'm watering plants, yet they are supremely breathable. I want you to know I'm not easy, and I'm kind of stingy with my stars. But these definitely deserve five. Thanks Dovetail.

Sizing

I really like the Pants theres lots of pockets, fabric dries quickly & knees are double fabric.. although the Sizing is not consistent. I bought a pair in October 2025 8x30. They fit perfectly. The new pair 8x 28 are the same length as the original pair(in my case that is fine) but 2” difference is huge. There is more fabric in the hip area, so they are not as flattering as the original pair I purchased. I decided to keep them anyway because I am using them for yard work and the extra fabric is not an issue and I didn’t want to deal with returning and trying size 6. I like the pant but consistency in size is DISAPPOINTING.

Perfect Fit

lightweight, fit great! i am 5’1” and weigh 135. i purchased size 4x32 Britt X Ultralight work pants and love them! love the inside waist band help hold them up. highly recommend
