MonumenTOOLS - Flush Cut Hobby Clippers

I wish I could say that these nippers help up to the standard of all the other products I've gotten from Monument, but alas, I cannot. While their profile certainly speaks to being flush, they manage to feel very chunky, and no matter how close I think I am to the model, both by sight and feel, there's almost always a solid chunk of sprue left on the model. The cutting edges are also not tight, except near the end, and not only can I see light between most of the cutting surface, but I can distinctly see the shape of objects passing behind them as well. Also, after just one box of models (Maggotkin of Nurgle Vanguard, to get an idea), the hinge is making an odd clicking sound that doesn't inspire confidence with all else taken into consideration. Overall, while Monument is still my go-to for paints and pretty much any other tool, and I'll probably keep these around for cutting metal pins & rods, I'm moving quickly along to another set of nippers for models.

Changed design for the better

I bought these as a replacement for a previous pair from you. I didn't know the design had changed and it's for the better. Love them.
