I am pleased with results using the kit for dry eye therapy. The burning and itching has been relieved, No outward sign of inflammation. The apparatus was easy to use. Dr. Truong who is managing MGD treatment was also pleased that I am using the product.

Nulids helped MGD and chronic blepharitis

I have MGD/chronic blepharitis, with acute exacerbation and multiple persistent/recurrent styes x 1yr. Antibiotic/steroid eye drops, daily eyelid scrubbing and multiple I&Ds did not improve my condition. My ophthalmologist finally prescribed Blephex and Lipiflow, which did help, but are expensive to do regularly. I googled and found Nulids. The support from Leigh is incredible, prompt, efficient and kind. After 1 week of daily morning Nulid scrubbing with Zocushield and Nulid gel, the multiple small styes, eyelid swelling, redness and tenderness have resolved. My routine is to clean eyelids with saline after waking, followed by warm compress/eyelid massage, then Nulid brushing, then clean with tea tree/Avenova hypochlorous acid wipes. A little onerous, but so worthwhile. I plan to continue this maintenance regime to prevent future flare-ups. So thankful to have found Nulids, which saved me from very expensive monthly Blephex and 6 monthly Lipiflow treatments.

I am an Australian living in Singapore, and I have been suffering the symptoms Blepharitis and MGD for just on 2 years. My eyes were a constant ‘waterfall’, even after having 3 operations to help with the drainage and muscle tension to aid the pumping action. Although I was diligent in my home care, I still wasn’t getting any satisfactory results or relief. After a lot of research I came across the NuLids system, however, this wasn’t available in Singapore. The closest supplier was Dry Eye Directory in Australia with whom I ordered the Starter Kit. From the time I pressed the order button, I received exceptional service from Dr Leigh Plowman. He kept me personally up-to-date on the status of my order and providing multiple information and instructions/videos in preperation for when I got the kit. Even after using the NuLids, Dr Plowman followed-up with a phone call and text messages to check on my status. After using the NuLids system for just over 3 weeks, I had a follow-up consultation with my Ophthalmologist who noted a considerable improvement in my Blepharitis & MGD and I can only put this down to using the NuLids system. It is certainly easy to use and I recently took it with me whilst travelling, not taking up much room.
