difficult seeds or maybe my inexperience
FIrst time to try these seeds. Germination was nearly non-existent, nothing from first planting, then 3 from second planting, both started indoors in soil starter. Two of 3 then died off, the last 1 got to be 3-4 cm then it too collapsed. I'd heard that this is a difficult plant to raise. Anybody have any tips?

Great onion!
Truly marvelous! They take a long time to grow, but have 10X’s the flavor of lesser green onions. Bloom 2nd year; flower heads as the flowers open, full of nectar, can be crushed into finished cooked dishes. After blooming a new onion grows from the root base to restart the cycle. One of my favorites…

Good as normal scallions
I need to work on the technique for growing proper negi, but as normal scallions these are good too.
