Apos Flow Headphone Cable for [Apos] Caspian

LCD-X still awesome in 2024

Great headphone! The bass is really the standout feature of these for me. It has a kind of depth and weight that that my Aria Stealth and Focal Radiance don't even have. Sure, the Radiance hits more impactfully, but neither have the same deep rumble that hits you in the chest of the LCD-X (even though the Aria Stealth measures very well in the sub-bass). Don't get me wrong though, the bass is never muddy, and really not even boosted. Soundstage is decent, not as good as the Arya Stealth, but imaging and "holography" compete with it quite nicely. It is also much tamer in the treble compared to Arya Stealth. I definitely would recommend this headphone, especially great for rock and metal!

Like everything very much, everyone at APOS that I dealt with was very helpful _SMSL was not -actually never got response to my emails- 1 star for customer service 4-stars for the gear itself. Everything seems well made and sounds good. solid connectors and Caspian's are very comfortable 4.5

The Caspian are probably the best headphones I've ever heard or had the pleasure of owning. The sound timber is rich and warm and sounds like butter. The soundstage is very large and imaging is extremely precise.
