Metal tail switch is useless

I also have the older version which has a rubber covered tail switch. I was expecting a lot from this new version. It turned out to be below par especially due the metal tail switch, which is difficult to use for intensity change. The click quality of the tail switch seems to have suffered also (cost cutting??). The knurled surface of the barrel on the old version was also very helpful, new version has smooth sides, which don’t give the same level of secure grip feeling. I will stop recommending Fenix flashlights to my friends and family.

Small but efficient, just enough brightness for everyday carry on your key chain. Easy to use and appears to be well constructed.
