Fenix ARE-A2 Battery Charger

Slower of their chagers

The charger works perfectly fine. However, it’s the slower of the 2 chargers they sell. I needed to charge my batteries fast for a 24hr mountain bike race. This one was not fast enough to charge my batteries by the time I had to ride again. My fault for not diving into the specs or thinking they sold another model. I wish they made it more clear at time of purchase that they have 2 chargers available and one is slower. Not sure why they would offer a slow one. It would be better to sell one that offered both fast and slow charging if slow charging is a requirement. I’m happy with the other Fenix purchases that included 2 mountain bike lights, several batteries, and mounting hardware.

The Fenix ARB rechargeable batteries and charger have really impressed me. As someone who’s been around the block a few times, I can appreciate the compact size of these batteries compared to the old CR123s—they’re just more practical. The charger not only looks sleek but performs like a champ. What really stands out is that cool digital display with the charging percentages lighting up. It adds a modern touch that makes checking battery levels feel pretty high-tech. Overall, this setup has been a fantastic investment, and I’m glad to have it in my gear. It’s definitely something I’d recommend to anyone looking to upgrade!

Handles a bunch of different sizes! Nice solid design, and the screen gives a great status report for how much charge each battery has.
