It’s a little dark so it does not show up as well on black watercolor paper. But it’s still beautiful!

I must admit when I bought it I thought it was going to be "bluer", I was going to use it for blue details in painting. It's still richly blue, but more on the darker side, I use it in my normal painting to enrich shadows, something that I struggled to do before. The shimmer and blue tones in the paint somehow adds to the richness of the deeper shadows in a way that my normal watercolours doesn't. I cannot recommend this paint enough.
