Vintage Shock Mount - Works but complicated

Hi, the vintage shock mount is a good idea given the shape of the mics. I bought 2 and they work great but are more complicated than some shock mounts to connect the mic. Maybe JZ tried to hard to make them work for too many shapes rather than designing specifically for the microphone. Many Manufacturers include a shock mount with the mic.
