Versatile for Travel documents and small stuff

I went ahead and purchased with the Freefly16 small backpack (separate review). This will fit any pack with a chest strap that fits through one of the four slots on the Speed Stash. I thought I would use this with the Freefly16 for a 2 week sampling trip in the Peruvian Amazon area (Iquitos, Nauta, and remote communities in the area), but I used it more on my larger travel pack (Arpa 35L). It came in handy for keeping my passport and travel documents as well as sunscreen, lip balm, and money so no more de-packing and digging through a zip pocket for all of this stuff. Must have? probably not...nice to have and handy? absolutely.

I have researched many shoulder pockets

I have researched many shoulder pocket. This is one of the nicest. Certainly not the lightest however, nor the best volume, but it wins at being the nicest looking, and having the most compatible mounting wize. Some of the competitors are lighter and have more volume. Some are easier to open (IE: magnetic flap) bust these require you to have a daisy chain mounting system on your shoulder strap. Also these competing options are not as snug and may present some movement. The Matador stays firmly in place and works nicely with my sternum strap.

I really like the quality. It’s practical for keeping my most important items close at hand, and it has become the perfect companion to my backpack. Highly recommended.
