Fresh water medley is happy!

Brown and smelly

Opened the bag and was hit with a pretty foul odor. The willow moss was very light and transparent green with brown mixed in. The Java(?) moss mixed in has a nice vibrant green though. I placed into my low tech tank to see what happens. A week later and no changes on the willow moss but the stowaway moss is starting to grow. I’m trying to be patient and not bummed out and give things time.
