Decent Grinder, But Falls Short of Expectations
I was excited to try the Mueller Living electric coffee grinder after reading all the hype and positive reviews, but I’ve found it to be just about average. While it’s functional, it doesn’t quite measure up to my older Hamilton Beach grinder in several areas. Pros: -Easy Cleaning (Initially): Cleaning was straightforward after unboxing. -Capacity: It comfortably holds 4-5 tablespoons of coffee beans, which is suitable for most brewing needs. Cons: -Bulkiness: This grinder is a bit bulkier than I expected, which makes it less convenient to store or handle. -Overheating: It overheats quickly, especially when grinding for finer espresso or Turkish coffee, requiring longer wait times between grinds. For a finer grind, I often run the machine for 20-30 seconds as recommended, but it doesn’t consistently deliver the powdery texture I prefer. -Messy Transfer Process: Debris tends to spill out when transferring grounds to another container, making cleanup more tedious than necessary. -Residue Build-Up: Coffee oils and grounds stick to the blades and interior walls, requiring extra effort to clean thoroughly. A dedicated cleaning brush or tool included with the product would be helpful, as I had to rely on my own mini brush and improvised tools to remove caked-on debris. -Price-to-Performance: For the price, I expected a better overall experience. This grinder didn’t stand out in comparison to more affordable options. Overall, the grinder performs adequately, but it hasn’t impressed me enough to recommend it. While I’ll continue using it for now, I’d like to see improvements in design, performance, and included accessories to justify the cost.

Coffee grinder
for the price, it's OK. It grinds well but the container doesn't detach from the base, so to clean it, you're cleaning the entire unit (obviously the clear top detaches) Also, once you grind a full amount for the full 20 seconds, you're supposed to wait 30 minutes to let the unit cool down so that it won't heat up the next batch that is to be ground. Rather inconvenient if you're wanting to grind more than one or two cups worth of beans... Thankfully it's priced low.

This was a gift for my son. I haven't heard how it works yet, but he was thrilled to have it so he can grind coffee beans for his new Mueller coffee maker. He was very happy for getting a new coffeemaker too!
