Grossly inaccurate sizing, accusatory customer service, & refund fees

The boots I received, purchased as 9. 5", were received as a true size of over 10. 5". Corresponding with Kim of customer service, I was only offered a store credit after return with a $15 restocking penalty. These boots are so grossly mis-sized that nothing short of a full refund should be acceptable. In the email correspondence, there was insinuation that I should have asked for sizing recommendation before purchasing a standard boot size that has worked for me across all other brands, which is very disrespectful. Further, Kim indicated that I would have been recommended a "half size down", which wouldn't even work as these boots are over 3. 5cm the length of a 9. 5" / 24cm boot, which is well above a half size difference (approximately 10. 8" in total).

Incredible quality boot. This is my first “real boot” and I could not be happier with them. Support was fast and extremely helpful. I originally asked if they had a certain size available, not understanding how their sizing system worked on the floyd last. My rep took the initiative to give me a size recommendation based on my other footwear, noting how these boots run large. As someone who works in customer service, I really appreciate the attention to detail and solving the problem before it even has a chance to become one. Went half a size down as they recommended, and they fit perfect. They’re a little roomy, but when laced properly they feel feel secure. Im beyond excited to break these in and put some miles on them. Grant Stone is incredible. Quality boots, quality customer service. I will be supporting these guys for a long time to come!

Good boots! Just be careful about fit.

The shoes are very clearly good quality, and I’m breaking them in well. My only caveat is I think that I could have gone smaller either in width or size to get a better fit. I wish I had an opportunity to try something on in a store beforehand.
