My wife loves them!!!

My wife absolutely loves these boots. The quality is amazing right out of the box — the leather feels premium, the craftsmanship is excellent, and they look even better in person. The Saddle Tan color is beautiful and goes with so much. You can tell these were made with care and built to last. She’s very happy with them, and we would definitely recommend Grant Stone to anyone looking for high-quality boots.

Spectacular offering for a spouse

I bought a pair of these for my wife for Christmas. GS was sold out in her size, but we placed the order anyway, and the boots nevertheless arrived a week before Christmas. Perfect surprise for her. The fit was spot on out of the gate, and apart from some initial rubbing at her ankle near the mouth of the boot after wearing it for a whole day, they were comfortable from the start. Really great if you want to involve your spouse a bit in your hobby.

The boots to end all other boots

These boots make all of my other “high-end/expensive” footwear feel cheap and disposable—and I guess they are disposable in some sense, eventually. I now own two additional pairs of GS Noras and have lost interest in building my footwear collection with anything else that I had previously enjoyed, with the exception of maybe sneakers and hiking boots, or something specialized. (I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more GS styles. ) You don’t know what you don’t know, so I had no idea what true, premium, Goodyear welt quality felt like until these boots. Is this the first time I’ve seen a truly well-built shoe? Possibly. Absolutely blown away and while I felt completely spoiled for spending so much on a pair, it’s worth every penny. I watched a video review of a cobbler attempting to take apart and resole his own GS and it proved challenging for him…because they’re so well made. Hopefully they’ll last a long time, and I’m definitely looking forward to many years of use. A word on sizing. My sneaker size and typical size is 8. 5 so I ordered 8. 5. At first they felt very roomy in the front but perfect on the sides so I kept the size. They do feel very heavy at first and you might find yourself feeling like you’re walking around in a bigger size and having to compensate a bit with more intentional steps. Definitely check with GS first but for me at least, they feel more and more comfortable and “normal” with use. Just not used to the quality and weight nor the almond shape but glad I didn’t size down! Even wearing an insert or double socks makes them feel a bit too tight and small, and the fit/feel aligns with how they describe in the booklet for the intended fit. No hot spots and am still breaking in but so, so happy with these!!!!
