Good pant, front zippers are rough on your hands, missing some things I would like for a travel pant
First, overall they seem pretty decent on first try. I can't speak to the durability as I just received them. The front pocket zippers are a little rough. I am not sure if there is anything they can do about them but they are rough on your skin as you use them. Secondly, it would be great if they had thigh pocket that opened vertically along the seem on the outside of your thigh on both sides big enough for a phone. If they had them they would be great. I know at least one of their other pants have something similar but they look more like cargo pants with the horizontal access. BYLT has this and I like them but I think KTEL might be better with them. In addition, I like a watch pocket on each side front along the waistband without zippers. I use them to put credit cards in (just fits), keys, or folded bills. This is a handy way to leave your wallet in your room and only take the essentials while travelling but still have safe and secure access.

COMFORT PERSONIFIED!
I was looking for a pair of Chino's for travel ... They had to have security features - zipper pockets; they had to be comfortable; and as far as cost is concerned, they had to be reasonable. I did my research and KETL Mtn. checked-off all 3 boxes. And did I tell you they were comfortable ... they are comfort personified!!! ... And their customer service is top notch. I ordered a 34x34 as my pants size not realizing they were asking for "inseam" length (as a result, my pants were too long). So I requested an exchange for a 34x32 and received them in "no time" - no questions, no hassle, and they even paid for the return! I wish I would have found KETL Mtn earlier! ... They have a customer for life!

Nice pants. Heavier weight (which is good) than some I tried from Amazon but don’t get too warm. I had to try a few different sizes. I’m about 6’-0” now as I age and start to shrink, 240 lbs. I typically wear a 38 waist and 32 inseam. I initially tried the XXL because 38 fell within that range and went with the 32 inseam. It was a too loose in the waist for me so I tried an XXL / 30 wondering if that would make a difference but eventually settled on a XL / 32 and it seems to be the correct fit, not too loose but enough stretch in the waistband for future expansion. I also went with the straight cut vs slim. Slim was a little too tight at the cuffs and tended to ride up. Also, I wear compression sleeves on my knees so the straight cut didnt show them underneath. The pants fit good, I wore them 3 days in a row just to get a feel for long term wear since I bought these for an upcoming month long trip to Norway and I’m going to try and really cut down on what I bring. Havent washed them yet but I feel they will dry pretty quickly and thats another reason for getting them. I’ll be getting another pair once the color I want is back in stock.
