I've used the Schacht Matchless for months now and I absolutely love it. It's sturdy, versatile, and spins and treadles so smoothly. Directions for treadle installation is included and easy to understand. It doesn't take long to have it ready to spin, and oh what a joy it is to spin on the Matchless.

I bought this for the versatility. Now I can spin long draw, something impossible on my Louet with it's strong take up. Also the Matchless is a beautiful piece of art. the workmanship is impressive.

I love my wheel. I saved for almost a year to get it am more pleased with my purchase every time I sit down to spin. However, getting it to me was really delayed and kind of a hassle. The website says that shipping can take up to three weeks but I had to call a month after ordering and ask what the deal was. I was told they would call the manufacturer when they were open and would call me back. I waited another couple days and called again and was told that my wheel was being shipped that day. When it finally showed up I had to fight with FedEx, which isn’t Paradise’s fault. It was close to six weeks from order date to my door which is a bit long when I had to track it down. I love the wheel though!
