Jalapeño Chili Crisp – Mild, Zesty & Crispy

Second order not so spicy

I previously ordered the Don Chilio a couple months back and it was spicy, which I loved. My jar was almost empty so I thought I’d better place another order. This time I ordered 2 jars. Unfortunately the spice was not there. Now, don’t get me wrong, it was still delicious, just very mild in heat. That of course is not this brand’s fault but the fault of the jalapeño. However, I still put this in my eggs and soup. Still delicious, just not spicy enough for me. I’ll wait to see the next jar, crossing my fingers it is more spicy. — Me encanto la idea de Don Chilio! El primer jarito salio muy picante que me gusto mucho. Desgraciadamente el seguundo no tan picante. Creo que fue la culpa del jalapeño! Aun, sigo usando el crisp en mis huevos. Muy rico, pero poco picante. Se los recomiendo.

Tried the Don Chilio mild chili crisp. It was delicious. Put it on rice last night, tonight pizza. Who knows what I’ll put it on tomorrow. Maybe eggs. Love it

Wasn’t sure about these, because the first bite I took I almost started coughing. However, by the second bite I was hooked. I like mixing this with their smoky crisp and it gives me a little bit of heat and a perfect crunch. I like using it as a salad or sandwich topper. So yummy.
